ABSTRACT:
Liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization mass spectrometry was used to investigate eight different preparations of an anti-thyroid stimulating hormone murine monoclonal antibody, obtained from a single cellular clone grown under identical conditions. While the spectra of the intact IgG provided a primary fingerprint distinguishing the investigated lots, subsequent analysis of the antibody fragments further confirmed the differences.

Keywords: electrospray ionization, monoclonal antibodies, fingerprinting.
