ABSTRACT:

The electron impact, chemical ionization, fast-atom bombardment and collision-induced mass spectra of the semicarbazone derivatives of benzoin and 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde are reported. Fragmentations of molecular and pseudomolecular ions are tabulated and rationalised.
