This searchable database provides unique information from selected papers in the mass spectrometry literature from 1991 to 2003 covering over 200 journals. More than 15,000 specially-commissioned abstracts provide the essential details on Methods (including instrumental details and conditions); Assays; Applications; Techniques.
All of the abstracts are written by specialists and are NOT simply copies of the author abstract. Each abstract contains the full title and bibliographic details and a unique and informative synopsis which emphasises the chromatographic and mass spectrometric aspects of the original publication. Instrumental conditions are given wherever possible, including the mass spectrometer set up and all relevant chromatographic criteria. This experimental detail distinguishes The LC/MS Applications Database 1991–2003 from all other abstracting services and will help practising mass spectrometrists in their daily work. Details of sample preparation and derivatisation are also included.
The mass spectrometric techniques covered include electrospray, ion spray, APCI, dynamic FAB, particle beam, thermospray, CE/MS and SFC/MS. As well as LC/MS, flow injection and infusion with these soft ionisation processes are included.
