From a review by Paul Geladi in NIR news:
I can recommend this book to all newcomers to the subject (and experts too, because they have to teach it to newcomers). The book cannot only be used as an introduction for newcomers, it can also be used as a reference book for experienced users. The only real competitor on the market is Reference 3 (Chemometrics. A Practical Guide) and I suggest that interested scientists buy both books. Together they contain all that is needed for the practical user of calibration and they both contain a short and simple introduction to classification.
