Edited by Peter J. Derrick and Scott D. Paterson
This special issue of European Journal of Mass Spectrometry captures the state-of-the art with regard to analysis of peptides, proteins and their modifications by mass spectrometry, as it is applied to the broad field now referred to as “proteomics”.
The issue covers the analysis of proteins and peptides separated by 1D/2D gel- or capillary-electrophoresis and also non-gel approaches (e.g. chromatography-based). It will contain articles on methodological developments as well as innovative applications.
